Moore Blatch has selected the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) as the firm’s first Charity of the Year. Under the new initiative, Moore Blatch will organise a full calendar year of activities – with the aim of fundraising for the charity.
The partnership will also see Moore Blatch lawyers and staff donate their time and volunteer in the houses. Volunteers will undertake a variety of activities including deep cleaning so that the houses are in perfect condition for families; and running events togive parents and their children an opportunity to rest and relax away from the hospital ward.
A firm with philanthropy at its core, Moore Blatch decided to launch the Charity of the Year initiative after a legacy of successful fundraising campaigns for several organisations, including a recent donation of £2,390 for Smile4Wessex, which provides charitable support for the Wessex Neurological Centre of Southampton General Hospital.
