Moore Blatch appoints Mark Grant as partner in its land development team

Mark Grant has joined Moore Blatch as a partner in its land development team.  Mark joins from Gateley Plc where he was partner in the firm’s Guildford office.

Mark has specialised in land development for over twenty years. He has worked in both private practice and at Rydon homes Ltd and Bovis Homes Plc where he was a regional legal director.

The Moore Blatch property team now includes over 30 advisers and enjoys a formidable reputation both within the legal world and amongst house builders, developers and site promotion companies.

As well as advising house builders, developers and site promotion companies, Mark, who will be based in the Southampton office, will be acting for both private and international landowners who are disposing of sites, entering into option agreements and promotion agreements.

Mark Grant, partner, Moore Blatch, commented; “I am genuinely excited to join the expanding land development team at Moore Blatch, and am looking forward to working with the firm’s existing clients. I’m also looking to help the team expand its current offering through my long established professional network based primarily in the Southern Home Counties.”

Martin Duck, partner and head of commercial real estate, added; “Mark brings a high degree of expertise, both as a private practice solicitor and someone who worked in-house at the most senior level for some of the UK’s most respected housebuilders. This knowledge will consolidate and strengthen our residential property team, enabling us to continue to provide a modern and bespoke approach to all land development projects for developers, land promoters, affordable housing providers, house builders and landowners.”
